  1. Who is on the deeds? If hubby not on deeds and marriage regime is "separation de bien" hubby may be on a real sticky wicket. He needs to see a solicitor and notaire
  2. Got advice from vet and also the front line manufacturers and so tried it with great success and no ill effects...
  3. HI, in March our dog was extremely ill with some sort of poisoning - neither I nor our vet knew what it was. In past summers we have routinely used advantix for flea/ tick control, we have not this year as we were worried about using such a chemical again, but frequent combing and even diacotomous earch have not completely controlled the situation. Our vet is not certain, so was wondering if vets2U was still around or someone could coment on the use of adavtnix post poisoning - we don't really want to experiment but need to get ri of the fleas. thanks
  4. Any chance of the recipe please? It sounds delicious
  5. Check out leboncoin as well for private sales in your preferred area. Good luck.
  6. she'll be a bit young to board ...... but there are families that will take her en famille. It's not near Calais but the school at La Baule (College Grand Aire) where my son is in Lycee has an international section.... feel free to PM if you want more information
  7. Our local McDo's has a really nice coffee shop attache selling all the usual fancy coffees, croissant, pain au chocolate and other cakes, we don't go often but for a breakfast on the go - it's excellent value for money

Our cats just try climbing into bed with us in the morning, but the dog has it down to a fine art he stands on the edge of his steel tea bowl and lets it clatter and bang until he either gets his cup of tea in the afternoon or his dinner at lunch time......
  9. Hi, looking for a few additional hens either young or POL - breeds that am interested in are Aracuna / Cream legbar; Mantes / Houdan or Marans if you have any or know of anyone with these breeds, would be really interested in hearing from you. Am happy to wait for the right birds. thanks
  10. Also check out what you can buy new - we made a take or leave it offer to our vendors when they wanted a huge price for an oven and hob - they took them but I was able to buy new at a reasonable cost, the firdge freezer they made a huge fuss about leaving for us didn't last a week. But having declined to buy from them - the vebdors also took every light fitting and light bulb as well as everything else not screwed down and some that were.......
  11. Hi The POST does have an international section that you can go to and it does offer tracker parcels but just make sure it is not too heavy - or it will be very costly, we nearly had a heart attack at the price to send to S Korea yesterday http://www.laposte.com/ good luck
  12. Hi, we lloked in detail at this offer, it is for longer term rental and has limited mileage included but if you only need a local run around it is a good offer. We have rented other cars from super U and been very pleased with their service
  13. Looking for some different things to do and there is a tour of the cointreau chateau in Angers, jusy wondered if anyone has done this and what is was like? thanks
  14. HI, We're season ticket holders and find that the food is competively priced and pretty good especially if you book in adavance for one of the "special meals" with Henry and Louis... or for the vendee ham and chips. However we do tend to take a proper picnic for the meal between the last proper show and les orgue du feu (don't miss it if you are going on a non cine scenie night.
  15. ditto, we also met, married within the year, children arriving somewhat later, & much prefer to be together than apart..... France is simply an extension of that
