Nanny state bullsh*t if I ever heard  it.   Anybody who has ever ridden a motorcycle will know that automatic speed limiters are likely to kill more bikers than they save.  I guess that the automation would need to be GPS based......which means that the state could also see exactly where you are all the time.......all a bit Orwellian for me.......

Sounds great Bugbear but two weeks on the trot is more than I can do when we have so much on at home.  Pity that......will be a fab ride I am sure.   Rolly

WOULD have been a good day for cleaning the bike.....however Mrs Rolly had other ideas......shopping for bathrooms.....EEEK!! Still, did have a VERY nice lunch lunch in Les Herbiers as a consolation prize...... Rolly (still with very dirty bike!  :0)    

I am back too......bike is FILTHY again......don't know why I bothered cleaning it. 220 Miles door to door.....enjoyed all of them even the coldest wettest ones.  Great to meet Gary, Ron and Keith.  Look forward to another ride out soon......perhaps a North Deux Sèvres tour??? Cheers   Ian

Hi Gary - thanks for the tip on this forum ......looks good. Sorry I won't be able to join you owing to the fact that my UK bike still hasn't sold and I therefore have not yet bought my new one.  For the record though, My ZZR1200 saw three winters riding in the UK and was my sole daily transport during the last two.  I know what it is like to be cold!!!!  Hope to meet with you guys soon.   Cheers   Rolly
