  9. ok 112000 on the ball game. Just a quick question is there something wrong with me I now hate a fan, yes a fan, the one in the plane game. My arm is killing me [blink]
  10. Ok, she telephoned them today, they just told her no decision had been made for people who had already moved to France.  They did not say to write a letter, but I will tell her she must.  The last payment she recieved from them was Oct last year, Im sorry I dont know what date but I will find out. Is there anything else she should be doing?
  11. No Ron you didnt misinterpret, that is what I wrote. I was talking on the phone to her, but I had not got the numbers. I thought her first port of call would have been her local benifits office in England, ( which I did not put), but then I asked if this was correct.  After, I thought, bet someone has already put the numbers on some where, so I looked. I guess I should have done that first. Im afraid my written English is not very good and sometimes it comes across wrong, I hope this is better, and yes I am English. So are we friends again now [:)] [B]
  12. Wow Ron where did that come from. She is a 70 year old women, I just came across this posting tonight. I didnt want to tell her about it untill I knew all the facts, eg what benifit they used to get ect ect. I did not explain about this as I didnt want to raise her hopes, as they are finding it hard to live without the extra money. Thats why I was asking the questions. I honestly know nothing about benifits. Any way I have telephone her, and like I said, She will telephone them tomorrow.  I have just gone over this web site and think I found the number she has to phone. Not everyone Ron knows their way round all the benifit offices. So no this is not a wind up. I dont think my posting warranted this response. I guess I must have done something wrong, but I cannot think of anything that I have done, except ask a question.
  13. Just asked her. They got attendance allowence is that the same. I have told her to phone them, so she is going to, but I think, she will just telephone her local department. Is that the right place for her to phone?
  14. Hi all, I dont know anything about benifits, but I have just read through this posting. I would like to ask a question, my friend is a pensioner, and so his her husband. In England they claimed 300 pounds a month, this was because she had to care for her husband. When they came here they lost that money, does this thread mean she can now try to claim back that money, or is this something different.
  15. 112.333m  [:P] now thats what I call good. Ok I will get a life once my diplomas have been translated and stamped. Mind you I then have to send them to Rennes, so could be a while now. [:(]
  16. Yes Yes Yes [:D] I got 71.709m on the flight stim. God I feel good. Begining to think I have to much time on my hands [blink]. I need to get a job, or even better a life.
  17. 63610 on the ball game, but ...... at the plane game. My hubby giving me the evil eye [:@] as it is now way past bed time. Now I remember why I stopped coming to this web site, your all as mad as me [;-)]
  18. Having just read this posting, it has confirmed to me, that I will never learn FRENCH [8-)]
  19. Hi all, My email address, when I sign in, is the old one that I used to use when I lived in England. I have gone into edit my profile, but can not see where to change my email address for logging in, can someone help.
  20. Oh ok i will be the thick one [8-)], it sort of explains my spelling, perhaps people will be more forgiving [:P]
  21. I asked my French teacher, and she said you can ask to register as a part time hairdresser ( a temps partiel), she said she knows people who have done that. She did say things change all the time. I will find out next week, going to England this weekend [:(] so will not have time this week. So I guess watch this space [:D]
  22. Sorry J.R, must have read your first post wrong. I guess I am lucky. Been told I can reg as part time so will not cost as much[:D].
  23. Please explain yourself! Why would i need to do that. I have ran an hairdressing shop for 20 years, the clients i would do, are going to be mainly English. I am not saying that I will not learn French, am having lessons now. Surely you cannot expect someone to move over here, and be able to do a French exam in 6 months. Why would i need to do that anyway, my city and guilds exam should be recognised in any eu country. I think you just trying to get under my skin, well you failed. Hairdressing is the same world wide, what could they teach me, how to put a roller in, I think not.
