I have an English and a French bank account.  As we will shortly be selling our property in the UK does anyone know if I can keep my English account open with a French address? 

I am in the process of getting my 2006 Volvo registered and plated in France.  I have been told that cars over 4 years old have to have their headlights replaced.  Does this apply to new vehicles as well?

I have read conflicting info about free2view cards .  Does anyone have any experience of activating these in France without phoning Sky?  I have heard that if you just leave it in the box overnight it will activate itself?  Any truth in this rumour!!

I am probably being a bit dense with all the information I am trying to assimilate regarding TV in France, but I have a freeview digibox at present in the UK.  If I buy a dish will the digibox receive channels in France? 

Has anyone had experience of buying mobile homes in France?  Is it better to buy in England and ship them over?

We are hoping to move over to France early next year to start renovating our property.  However we will only be there for about 5 months then coming back to England for 4 months before going back again.  Do I need to register my car in France and how do I go on when I return to England?
