1. Yes Oh clever one, bolters is exactly what I mean.  But my kids call them skyscrapers.  All gone now though and I've just gone and bought some carrot, turnip and spinach seeds.  I'm really getting adicted to this growing lark. Lets hop I have better luck with these.
2. My hair is very dark, my Mothers side ofthe family are almost jet black, they are Irish but decended from Spain????  So my skin is pretty fair, with green eyes (Irish) and very dark hair. Trouble is now, its all turning grey, so hands up, I use hair colour now, but have to buy two boxes as my hair is pretty long.  This vanity lark is expensive.
3. Thanks for the reply Ian, but what are flageolets???? Been having a read up on the www and carrots seem to keep popping up.  Quite fancy some other winter veggies like turnip and swede, but not sure if these will be ready in time. I have some parsnips in the ground which I grew from seed, the foliage is about two feet tall and I can just see the white parsnips popping out of the earth, should I caover them back up? Ta
4. Good evening folks, Had a busy day, weeding and removing some dead veggies from my patch today.  The peas were a disaster, too hot I think and the spinnach was eaten by black fly. My potatoes and onions are ready to dig up, and I was wondering once they have been removed, what can I put in their place. Ideally I would like to plant something I can eat this year, rather than wait until next, I know I'm just too impatient. Any ideas Thanks
5. Oh yes indeed, completely over the drive back from the UK, took 7 hours to drive and 4 days to recover, gosh I'm getting old.  Anyway, got loads done today, including digging up my salad sky scrapers, I've been cultivating them don't you know.
6. Smelly and clever, what ever next? Good idea re the iron, but what about the asbestos sheets clever clogs?
7. Oh yes Furry knickers, I like a good induction. Good luck to you and Mrs Animal on the blow up zoo.
8. Flippin heck Miki, that was quick.
9. Hello Ms KKK, I look forward to reading your pm.  Still got major pc troubles so if I don't reply immediately don't take it personally. Hubby promises to sort it all out when he eventually comes home. Mrs Animal, there is nothing wrong with showing a bit of breast.
10. On the subject of A R S E.  There is a village near to me call Largeasse, I kid you not.
11. Furry Knickers, you do brighten up my day with your lovely posts. By the way I have long dark hair [;-)]
12.
Well Dotty, What can I say,? I didnt wake this morning thinking "me with only the average tools would be asked to marry. I must go and and think about such an offer, (p.s. meet you behind the compost heap)[6]
Sorry Pun, couldn't make the compost heap today.  How about tomorrow? I have 3 acres of land, all of which were very overgrown about a year ago.  Have it all under control now and have even managed to grow some veggies, first time ever.  Have about 1/4 of an acre left to clear, this will be the spot for the pool next year and the corrugated iron and asbestos sheets our dear predecessor left buried under a pile of bramles, why oh why do folk do this.  Then I can make a start on replacing/replanting the hedges.
13. Pun I love you, will you marry me and come and tend my land pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeeeee.
14.
If it is the case that BA are halting this service it would be a real shame. Shifting the time of this service was a mistake (or perhaps they wanted an excuse...). It was frequently more competitive than the Ryanair alternative, though persauding people to even check the prices was an uphill struggle. Still, it doesn't look lilke Ryanair will have a monopoly in Nantes - Air Arran are shifting their Manchester flight from Angers to Nantes and it looks as though both Fly BE and Easyjet are keen to expand their Altantic coast operations.
Thanks for the info Jond, but how do you know?
15. Stockings Dick, hairy stockings not socks. Thanks Phil, just for that Mrs long arms can stay.
16. Hello Dick Glad you're back, but I'm going to change my avatar now as I don't think you appreciate it.  Mrs monkey is going!
17. I know just teasing, been on the red water. [:)]
18. Come on Tresco, use some imagination will you.  Just find somewhere close ish and put Tresco down as living there.
19. Its really good, I've just joined.  Come on everyone its so easy, even I managed it.  You don't have to be too specific.
20. Thank you, this was taken a few years back, now I have hair growing out of my ears as well. Just for you I'll lose the beard. [;-)]
21. Phil You do make me laugh and you clearly have a talent for this sort of thing.  Do you have a garden where by your guests can walk round, if yes, then I think a few of these sream faces would be great dotted around.
22. Not sure how true this is, but a friend of a friend works for BA and knows my OH uses the Gatwick to Nantes route.  It would appear BA will not be offering this service from November onwards this year. I have tried to book flights on line for this period and it comes up with ' this service is not available'. This is a real pain in the wotsit, does anyone else know if this is the case and if there is likely to be another carrier to take it over? Airfrance stopped this direct route too earlier this year, I'm surprised as I saw on a programme that Nantes was the fastest growing city in France.
23.

Are you dissing me Tresco?
No! I just wouldn't want you to be taken unawares by a possible rejection. I'm sure you're right about Mikis' non-discriminatinatory attitude towards hairy scoobs. Here's a prezzie for ya!
Do they come with lashings of cream and toffee sauce?  Ok, then I forgive you. [:)]
24. Are you dissing me Tresco? For that I'm going to bed, I'm deeply offended.  You can't diss me just because I'm on the hairy side of smooth.  Scoobies are scoobies, bet he posts by 1.00 am.
