  1. Sid, I was thinking about the conversion thing because a lot of peope have invested in a lot of extra lenses. Can they be used on digi cameras made by the same company? I know there are companies now making cameras that didn't before digi. David
  2. Sid, I can't figure out why some of the major camera makers haven't come up with a way uf converting film SLR cameras into digital. There is plenty of room inside taken up by the film compartment. My old Olympus OM 1 is a nice, small camera which is now on a shelf not being used. David
  3. Bubsy, So, shooting pictures instead of people now? Our Olympus mini digital is so old I can't remember when we bought it and my even older Olympus OM 1 is sitting on a shelf with the battery removed. David
  4. Sweet, I'll give it a look later. We have been to Mont St Michel and are in that area often when on holiday. Maybe you visited when the tide was coming in. We watch the Tour de France on Fr 2 when we are in France. David

  7. Russet, I've been in GB for so many years that I only have one friend in the US, and he now lives near Cincinnati, which is at the opposite end of Ohio from Cleveland where we both came from. David
