Have been looking at this thread with my French husband and half French daughter.  Husband is amazed and disgusted, daughter is confused and curious.  I'm just giggling manically as I know how nuts the lot of you are! Thank God we don't have a microwave[:)]

Oui ca va merci Frenchie et Sweetie!  Je suis en train de changer un peu la direction de ma vie.  Je continue à chanter un peu -quand même - mais j'ai aussi un projet de travailler avec des anglophones qui cherchent à s'insaller en France. J'ai crée ma propre site-web et tout et tout - on verra! Ca fait plaisir de voir toute la bande malgré l'absence de quelques uns et unes. Bonne Année (en retard)

I was a vegetarain for 10 years and started craving meat again when I was about 3 months pregnant ( don't judge me odile - I ain't in the mood[kiss]) I always remember during my veggie years refusing foie gras at a French wedding and the girl beside me remarked "Why?  It's not the bird - just the liver"! I'll keep that in mind tinabee - thr problem with the ashes is that when it rains,  they get washed into the earth and no longer repel the slippery visitors.

I keep mine for the summer and sprinkle it around my lettuces - the snails and slugs hate it.
