10. Funny how when you drink a lot, and you find a fellow p*ss head you make a good joke and chat about it, you have something in common.....justifying it together? My mum loves  Keith Floyd.....i remember it since i was young. She drinks a lot, and likes to cook. (she does the occasional impression of him![:$]) I guess it 's the same kind of thing. Someone else is doing it...so its ok? I'll tell her that news geordie girl. Cat your post reminded me, i'd have taken the pee out of anyone drinking spritzers or shandy a few weeks back.
11. Yeah me too sweet! Pads....NAUGHTY!
12. I could forgive the chappie in the blue for wearing a skirt...........[Www]
13. Have you tried all the local vets, and left your details? Are there posters in the area where he was spotted? Good luck......hope you find him.
14.
Thanx Sweet 17 for your encouragement.  On re-reading my post it seemed a little 'nombrilistic' and for that I apologise.  I really only wanted to encourge Chris, Meg and anyone else out there that what you are doing is really worth the effort for you and those who love you.  Jen
It certainly does give encouragement Jen. Another painful story to read. Thanks for posting it.
15. Hey I'm so cool they name a beer after me! Ironic that. Good going Twinks. I have never been in a social situation and not been drinking. (Advantage of not driving). Part of me is kind of looking forward to it? Christmas will be a toughie, going to my parents especially, as they are big drinkers. And just how good is it waking up without a hangover?! Funny to think about how i got through the day......waiting for beer o'clock to feel better. Yep oblivion...that's the one. Day 23!  [:D]
16. Thanks for the links! I'll get looking into it. [:)]
17.
Hi, now on my fourth day without a drink , thank you Chris[:D] (7 years without one single alcahol free night [:$]felt really good for the first three days and sleeping well but today I feel so tired, anyone else felt like this? I have taken to drinking soda water & lime instead of red wine, I find it really helps[:)]
Well done ann! Yep i felt like total c*ap for the first few days. Vitamin B complex (i think) helped.
18. I always find it amusing to tell folks "do you mind not eating while i am smoking as it is putting me off my ciggy" [6] See not at all anti-social..... its all these non smokers. (Ex smokers are the worst!) [:D]
19.
Your bench... For me the base is too heavy and makes me think of Barny Flintstone. With the size of the seat and legs it looks too short in the leg as it were and as if you are going to sit near the floor. The back is a better proportion for me. The wood looks as only oak can and is lovely
Funny, individual tastes i guess , but that is what i really like about it. Looks really 'grounded' if that makes sense??  (apart from the fact in the picture it is floating around!). Also visualising it in a garden setting, i like the relationship that would be had between the base and ground below it, grass, plants etc.. Almost gives the image of a fallen tree  to sit on, or a log balanced on large stones, kind of primitive but then having the look of a more traditional bench. Humm hard to describe, but i like it, and most importantly so does the client! [:)]
20. Thanks Anglais. The others are Btec ND And City and Guilds Not sure about what level this was as it was a college evening class.  Not really sure what it means myself! [:)]
21. Oh, gawd now it sounds confusing! Want an (ish) translation on my C.V so want to make sure its right! [8-)]
22. Hey good one Pierre! Day 17 here! 'ave it! [8-|]
23. hummmm ok, what do they do here instead of G.C.S.E's and A levels??? I could always look it up i suppose..........[I]
24. When i gave up (both times) it helped to have a sneaky puff after a few days. It tasted so icky and put me off fancying one. Is it  Halloween already?
