  1. I have just got a new in ground pool with a liner and don't know whether to put decking or tiles around it. I would prefer decking but I dont know if it is slippy when wet. Cheers Kate

  3. Hello, we have a registered property management services business in France which also undertakes gardening maintenance, if you are interested, here is our website http://www.frenchpropertytours.com/ We live 20 minutes away from St Benoit du Sault Whatever you decide to do though I hope you enjoy your garden and the lovely weather we have are hoping for.
  4. I should also say that there is a form of Iodine which is used in Gynaecology procedures which if used on the skin can burn, so this is perhaps where the confusion has come from as it is also known as Iodine.
  5. Iodine or Betadine as we would have known it is still used as a skin cleanser before some surgical operations in the Uk, particularly Orthopaedics. Here in France it is used widely for cleansing most wounds. I am a nurse working here in France and have used it in the Bloc Operatoire. My understanding is in France a tetanus is advised every 5 years for children and every 10 years for adults.
  6. Thankyou for your prompt replies. An english speaking plumber told me that there should be no leakage of water at all and that there is no need for the valve!
  7. Thankyou for your prompt replies.
  8. Hello, sorry but this topic has probably been covered a hundred times before but I need an answer to a question quickly. Are chauff-eaus supposed to lose a certain a mount of water each day into an overflow which comes as part of the security kit? Thanks in advance.
  9. Can I just say, that Irish citizenship was not  "offered" as part of the Good Friday Agreement, as it was always a right to people who were born in the whole of Ireland and this includes North and South. People born prior to 1922 in the 32 counties of Ireland presently bestow the right to immediate family to hold an Irish passport but not necessarily citizenship. Please note that I am not making any political statement here but merely stating facts.
