So are you saying this isn't an extra tax but is in fact just part of habitation tax that we pay for normally?

Help what is this for?Picking up our refuse , we are only at the house max 7 weeks a year do we still have to pay i.e. 87euros or 6 months thought this was all in with the yearly taxes eat does anyone know this is the first time we've had a bill after owning it for 12years any light on this please?

is it very easy to open this bankaccount as thinking of changing from britline as every thing with them is written in french  so wondering if these would be just as competative with their charges

we just wanted to drain it in case dont get back there until after the winter. ie to stop any burst pipes , have turned hot taps on but ended up blowing down washing machine pipe to break air lock and wondered if  there was an easier way for next time .

is there any easy way to drain the water out of our brico bought hot water cylinder( just heats by electric) as it seems to get an air lock in it .

not being very good at the french language we opted for a certain french bank with an "english" subsidary but their charges do seem to be going up  and as a lot of the literature we receuve is in french is their another bank any one can recomend our holiday house is in dept 86.

If I take an english analogue tele to france can I connect it up to a french bought satellite box  to continue to receive english tele on it.
