and le puy on the last weekend in July .. -
Not help paying, but help understanding them! I would like to meet with someone with good french, probably at my house, who also has a good understanding of water and electricity rates etc, to go through my bills with me and make sure that I am on the right track, because I have a feeling I may not be. I am happy to pay for this consultancy (and provide transport if necessary). I am in Argenton Les Vallées. (on and off ) any takers? thanks John

they did! I had to go and dig out the receipt to check .. 2x price of Screwfix still, I've achieved visibility on a forum!

our house is a couple of hours away, so we've already booked a hotel .. -
Mr Invisible here .. IT'S THE SAME PRICE IN THE UK NOW
-
I think you'll find it's the same price here now .. I was stunned to pay £9.99 for 2 metres from Wickes at the weekend
And it is strong. I danced on an experimental piece holding my dog and it did not break.
this thread is worthless without pics!

has Ryanair really cut Nantes? I can't find anything on this thanks John
-
my thoughts too .. we are in 79, small village, which is blighted in the rush hour by huge lorries .. but they're ALL local .. I came to the conclusion that there must be tax advantages in running artics over white vans over here ..

yes it was good .. the guy in the cobra made a point of spinning the wheels a little each time on the straight .. best bit was the dice between those two 2cv thingies until one went into the bales. Next stop Puy Notre Dame (more bugattis!) at the end of the month. I did take my camera, but obviously left the memory card in the computer at home... quite hard to take action shots with a phone! it's 5th/ 6th July isn't it? (or is that a different thing altogether?)
-
I see that there's one in Cholet which isn't too far from me, I'll take a trip over there .. could you get a rooms worth in a car (golf)? and, er, did you use any sort of glue? thanks John
-
another stupid question .. I can't find them on the website?
-
that's that problem solved then ... do you the St Malou website? maybe on an invoice or something .. not having much luck with google.. thanks John

I had come to the conclusion that carpet tiles would have to be the way to go .. what are they like? i was worried that they might look too 'industrial' ...
-
.. I just knew this wasn't going to be easy! it is beginning to look a bit like you have to do it yourself ..

I would like to achieve a fitted carpet, with underlay etc, in a bedroom in my house, but I don't know where to start .. am I asking for a moquette or a tapis? .. presumably they will need to come round and measure up? .. I don't think I've even seen any shops selling carpets .. I am in Argenton Les Vallées, near Bressuire, any help/advice very gratefully received ...
One person's abruptness is another's rudeness. Apart from maybe the slightly uneccessary comments about bleating and blaming (both of which given the circumstances could be true) then I can only see a lot of useful and inteligent answers from Icenci. Not everyone does warm and cuddly when questions are asked: that is what makes this such an interesting well informed place to come to you get your information, warts and all. The next thing some posters will be requesting is a standard response form cutting out the opportunity for personal opinions to be expressed. [6]
I'm sorry, but the way I read, every single point made was rude and unhelpful.
