Bingo !! another one not yet received. Same as last month had to ring up. Prior to that we had two call; firstly; Asking for our cheque for the advert placed, which we had sent months before, which they then found. Then we were telephoned to be informed that our advert would be ending end of March did we want to renew, we had paid up to the end of July. which they confirmed, Strange going ons. Royston

We lived in the Gulf of St Tropez for 3 years and with the sand and dusty terrain in the area, when the Mistral arrived you knew it - MOST UNPLEASANT - and during the summer it would turn the Med from warm to freezing cold water. Very dangerous for sailing crafts But then on the other hand when it is not arround it is a nice area to live in. THE INFO FROM " METEO FRANCE " which was sent to you, sums it up perfectly but then it should!! Until you have experienced the Mistral ( Several times and all strengths ) It would be difficult to say if it would put you off buying. GOOD HOUSE HUNTING Regards Royston

Hi We live on the border of the " Puy de Dome " and " L'Allier " which are areas within the AUVERGNE and we find the area breathtaking and the people very kind and friendly but a little shy sometimes and it is amazing how many of them like to try their English on you. We have been asking various agents in our area Allier/Puy de Dome for quotes for a new pool and we ask them for a price complete only to find that when they quote a reasonable price and we ask them to come to discuss it further, they arrive indicating that the digging out of the hole is extra. What would members of this forum who have pools consider being a reasonable price ? Royston
