Hi Can anyone help. We wish to purchase breakdown cover for our GB registered car that is staying in France over the winter. Could anyone advise which comanies to go for - as our French is not too good as yet, we would be looking for English speaking assistance. Any help appreciated. regards Bottleofbolly

We are planning to leave a Renault Espace or similar in France so we can save the small fortune we spend on car hire at the moment. Can anyone advise what rules and regs we will have to adhere to i.e. will we have to tax, mot and insure in France or will we be covered by UK documentation? I've spoken to our local Sky Mr Fixit and he says you can take your card over and use it in France to get the extra channels- I'm going to try it out!!
