Hi my house has no insulation at all ! I was contemplating removing all the plasterboard from the internal walls and then insulating the walls and re lining with plasterboard. But I'm just sat here looking and thinking that's a lot of work. So I have formulated a cunning plan. Using a stud locator to cut a hole high up in the plaster board between the battens and somehow fill the gaps with polystyrene beads then to repair the holes with some sort of filler. Any thoughts would be useful Thanks

Hi I wonder if anyone may be able to assist me, I have a Franco Belge oil fired boiler which seems to be consuming vast amounts of fuel. The boiler is used for 6 hours a day (2in the morning and 4 in the evening) and has consumed 600 Litres of oil in 4 weeks. I think there may be a setting within the boiler which requires adjustment/resetting This is based on the fact last year the radiators didn't get hot so a helpful neighbour took the top of the boiler and underneath there are two mini thermostats one marked with a tap and the other with a picture of the burner and a cross through it . My neighbour adjusted these and the problem improved slightly, however the real problem was the pump which had died and has been replaced. But now the oil consumption is incredible! can any one tell me what these mini thermostats should be set at?? Or recommend anyone near Guemene sur Scorff Dept 56 who may be able to assist? Thanks

I own a property in Brittany(56) and want to convert the huge loft to accomodate 2 ensuite bedrooms and a verandah. My plan is to cut back the roof and install french doors so that there is an external verandah. I will also need to cut into the floor to allow the installation of a new staircase. I have a friend who is an english builder who has looked at this and thinks it can be done but that it will need a small (3M RSJ) to support the floor after the concrete beams have been cut. I have had some drawings done but cant seem to add them on here . has anyone any experience of this thanks Alan

Hi sorry if this has been asked before but cant seem to find an answer. We are keen to make it to the Inter celtic festival at Lorient this year having bought in the area 8 years ago and never made it. I have looked at the site and it's a little confusing to say the least. How do I get tickets is there one ticket that cover all events ? Is there a ticket for each day / evening? Or do i need to pick who we want to see and buy individaul tickets for each group etc? Also I have been told that parking is difficult and that it would be best to go by water taxi from Fort Loius? Any information would be helpful thanks Alan McDonald
