Nice idea and well done, but I think you should consider using thumbnails to access your pix. The download time for all of the pix on the page is so long that most people might decide to give up and go elsewhere - as it seems has been the case. You could say you are trying to put all of your eggs in one basket. Not bad though for a first try.
