Hi , I'd like to hear from anyone who sorted out health cover in France who hasn't paid NI contributions in the UK for the last few years . That is anyone from the Isle of Man or Channel Islands especially . We are in the position of being British but having not paid contributions in Britain for some years. We'd like to know if we can take out a private health insurance to cover us so that we can apply for a carte de sejour. We want to work in France and pay into the health system here but have been told we must apply for a carte de sejour first -Is this another chicken and egg situation ?! I'd be happy if anyone with any guidance could send a message to my inbox please . Thanks Jen
