Hi, do you mean attestion d accueil. This is a certificate your friend will need to get from the Marie to prove you have accommodation before you can apply for a visa. It is used when you stay at someones home instead of a hotel. I keep both browsers on my computor. It is no problem at all I always use Firefox but MOH uses explorer. It will not effect any other programmes, I suggest you try it and see how you get on. Paul

Hi, Firefox is an alternative browser to Explorer. I use it all the time now. Just download from mozilla. Paul

Mikejac, We had a new Jotul fitted in the summer by a company called Cheminees Pierre Perlot in Cahors. They are on the D811 on the left as you enter Cahors from Mercues.They were very helpful came to the house to do a survey, very efficient installation, turned up on time. We dealt with Catherine Faure who speaks quite good english. Paul

Why worry? By the time this government gets its act together, the computers fail and they have spent Billions, it will all be over and they will have been voted out. The new Government not wishing to be seen to take on any previous ideas will shelve it until they re-invent it 10 years later. Hi, We use paypal quite a lot to accept credit ard payments from all over the world for Gite rental. I add the extra 2% to the rental to cover the use and leave the deposit amount in the online account to refund after the rental. Never had any problems. PAW

We have rented out our property for the last 5 years in the Dordogne. We usually have 12 weeks booked out. This year is very bad with only 5 weeks sold so far. I think the higher ferry costs earlier in the year may not have helped. I wouldn't want to make a living from the Gite.
