Not sure if this is permitted, but the furniture isn't mine, and several people have asked where can they buy such items, so here goes.

To everyone who had suggestions as to where we could leave our beloved dratted cats - we found the ultimate in beautiful catteries near Dinan! The Hilton of boarding kennels!
Rennee Hemming's establishment is wonderful; I would recommend it to anyone - and if dogs are cared for as well as the cats, what else can I say.
No, I don't have shares, and the boarding kennel/cattery has a website.
Julia, who was very pleased to leave the cats in such great care. -

The animalerie's sell the cat grass stuff you grow in longish plastic containers with a drip tray! My cats love it - but it does take a few days for the grass to get to the eatable stage. Be warned, the stuff flies everywhere if you don't open it with care!
I think Le Clerc also has the stuff, cost about 2 euros seventy. -
Don't know of one in Dinan, but do know they are around - there is one in Redon that a friend attended when visiting from the US. Try the Pages Jaunes.

Coco;
We are south - near Redon, but if you find a group collecting (not led by some dodgy person) for flowers for all the graves, count on me for a donation.

...the Beeb have created a new 'Entertainment Channel'. This is where all the new programs seem to have been relegated. I'll pay a monthly subscription - is there any way to do this and still have decent reception?
I've run out of books!

I have been W8AZE, W5BQW and 9X5SA, but nothing current.
Here in Redon we have TOTEM which deals in electronic components.

Advice for what it's worth and how well you follow it!
DON'T open any email from anyone you don't recognise. Resist the temptation to open and read the emails - just delete the things and the world will not end, but your machine will be safe from most viruses.
Norton and other AV tools can't pick up every virus created, particularly as there are new viruses created each day, even each hour. Some people make it their life work to create the ultimate virus. The volume of new viruses makes it impossible for AV tools to catch.
Then again you might consider a firewall for your computer!
The only way to even try to secure your machine is to ignore emails that come with a suspicious 'Subject Line' or from someone you do not know. Resist the temptation to open every email.

Kate;
Here is a site you might enjoy - be warned, it takes some time to 'look' at every little thing. Many of the items are small scale. Site is great, the lady who makes the items is too.

Bt George what a smashing hobby. I dearly love to see the birds flying. Will be interested to see if this thread provides some information. My cats would love to watch also!

Oh by gum! I'm a miniaturist, but don't make in one inch scale (1/12). Check the web for miniatures/dollhouses (the latter may bring up porn, so beware) - there are many kits available and not too expensive - I can probably find some sites for you if you need them.
Let me know what type you are looking for, in house and/or furniture - and approximate prices.
There is a site for DollsHouse World, which is a British Magazine that has ads for dolls houses and associated things. Try to buy from the maker, it's less expensive.
