  1. Anyone recommend a plasterer in Vendee?
  2. Hi Keith My husband Tom and I have a holiday home in St Florent des Bois ( on the road between la Roche and Mareuil sur Lay). We're fairly frequent visiters and have had our house for over tenyears now so are getting to know the area quite well. Where are you?.......the post code didn't mean anything I'm afraid. Are you permanently there?  Lots of questions, all of which I'm sure you can work out for yourself. We have an old stone farmhouse about 1k from the centre of the village. The house has yet to be renovated to 21st or even 2nd half of 20th century standards but as a holiday home it siuts us for the time being. We'll be over at the end of the month for just over a week but then not again till Feb/Mar next year. happy to reply, answer questions or whatever regards Jane Martin Post edited by the moderators. 3. We have plenty of room but know absolutely nothing about 'geothermal'. More info please.
  4. We're about to start the renovation of our old stone house in theVendee. At pesent it is our holiday home but we'd like to spend more time there in the future. At present we've two wood burning stoves, mobile gas heaters and an ancient oil filled radiator. We were thinking about storage haters but I've just been reading your opinions and have consequently gone off that idea. Electricity would seem, from what you've all said, to be the fuel of choice so what are the options???
  5. Just an enquiry to see if anyone has heard anything on the grapevine about where and when this might happen.
  6. Hi, my first time on here so I hope someone can help. Old farm house in 85. Livingroom floor tiles terracotta, some are losing their surface and going all crumbly. I need something to seal them with. Any suggestions? Product sourced in UK or france. Thanks in anticipation JM
