Hi, Thanks. Luckily I have a very good builder friend and my hubby doing it....phew. It was just the buying of it that was going to be troublesome. Thanks ever so much, Juley :)

Wow thanks pachapapa, very quick. It is a stone wall and ideally we want the morat to have a bit of a yellow tinge to it. I have copied down the term to repoint a stone wall and made a note of Mortier de chaux from the link you gave me so thats just the job. Thanks very much, Juley

Hello, I need to buy some bags of mortar for re-pointing. Does anyone have any idea what it is called or what the bag looks like. Thanks, Juley

Hello, My cat has gone missing and I am going to do a leaflet with a photo and take it round to all the neighbours if he does not turn up soon. I want to get the wording right and was wondering if someone would be kind enough to help me with this. I want to say: We have lost our cat Tommy. He is a small black fluffy cat. Please could you check your outbuildings, barns and garages in case he has got locked inside ! If you have seen him since Saturday evening or do see him please phone us on 05 55 53 44 97 or come and tell us at the Chambres d'hote in the middle of Villechenoux. Thank you very much, Juley and Paul We could do this without help but I want to make sure the message is clear. Thanks in anticipation, Juley

Hello, We had a solitary Common Crane circling above the barn yesterday evening. Has anyone else seen any yet ? I am sure he is far too early to start his migration. Perhaps he has fallen out with all his pals ! Juley www.villechenoux.co.uk

Hello, Our neighbours have just had a baby girl. I have the "New baby" card and want to write something like Congratulations on the arrival of Cyrielle. Its is wonderful news. We look forward to meeting her. I have tried various translation programmes and they all offer different translations. I do not want to write something wrong or stupid......help. Thanks, Juley

Good Morning, We would like to be able to offer our B&B guests leaflets or flyers about the local tourist attractions in our area which is just north of Limoges. I would like to know how to go about getting them. Would I have to approach each attraction individually to ask them to send me some leaflets or would I be able to get a selection from the tourist office ? I want quite a few of each and therefore could not just pick up a few at a time. Thanks in anticipation, Juley in Villechenoux.co.uk[:)]

bogus enquiries - greek priests
Juleyandpaul replied to Yvonne's topic in B&B/Chambres d'Hôtes Owners
Hi, Yes we had the same email yesterday. My husband and I were trying to picture the six priests in the double beds together and were wondering how they would choose who shares with who !!! Someone no doubt will get taken in by it. Having read the replies to this link the promise of eight glamour models may have made my husband lose his suspicious mind and replied rather promptly me thinks ! Juley www.villechenoux.co.uk -

Juleyandpaul replied to water rat's topic in B&B/Chambres d'Hôtes Owners
Hi and congratulations, Firstly I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere but I cannot find anything. How did you find the whole process of getting registered etc. with Gite de France. Was it fairly painless? We are considering going down that route with our B&B but wondered what we may be letting ourselves in for! Thanks Juley and Paul -

Hi Tawny Owl I have sent you a PM. Juley -
Hi Jotty, I have taken about 20 Ryanair flights in the last year and I have never had a problem. I have been delayed once and the staff have always been polite. As you say it is good to note the good....if you see what I mean! Now and then I am sure people have reason to complain but I do not expect much as I pay a pittance really and I get from A to B safely and stress free. Happy flying Juley

Hello, Does anyone know if there is a gym or other sporting facilities in Bellac or nearby? We need to make sure we have somewhere to work off all the red wine and cheese we might be eating soon! Thanks Juley

Vets in Haute Vienne
Juleyandpaul replied to Juleyandpaul's topic in Central (Centre, Limousin, Auvergne)
Thankyou all so much for your replies. As usual the Living France Forum has come up trumps. The news from Chocccie that there is an English speaking vet in Bellac is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thankyou all once again. From a reassured Juley -
Hello, My husband and I are moving to France at the end of the year. We have owned a property near Nantiat for over four years and are now in a position to move over permanently. My concern is my elderly dog Millie. She will be 15 years old next month and to be honest we thought she would have gone to dog heaven by the time we moved. But she keeps hanging on in there bless her! I am looking for reassurance that there is a nice and preferably english speaking vet in or around the area of Nantiat or Bellac to put my mind at rest for the expected visits with Millie. Thanks Juley

Hello, Can anyone recommend a dictionary for use in resturants etc. Nothing too big but with most of the words that we will come across when going out for a meal in France. There are quite a few on Amazon but would rather have one with a recommendation. Thanks Juley

Other places to visit near Oradour
Juleyandpaul replied to Penny29's topic in Central (Centre, Limousin, Auvergne)
LAST EDITED ON 29-May-04 AT 09:14 AM (BST) ] Hi Penny, Try the Bellevue amusement park which is just up the road from the airport. Take the signs towards Nieul (turn right out of the airport) and it is about two miles along on the right. I have not been yet but plan to go this summer so would be interested to know what it is like. Looks ideal for a seven year old (and grown up children!). www.visitorama.com/87 Then scroll down to parc-Bellevue.html Try the above as it has a map and opening hours. Regards Juley
