Not just electrical goods;look at your food containers-they usually seem to have French,Dutch and Greek?? but not the second commonest language in the world.

Warn them beforehand to make sure they have the right bar/electrics.Some bars can differ for the same car just because of the trim level.

If you look at a map,it would certainly have to go inland from Montpellier,certainly as far as Vias/Beziers but probably the simplest route would be to run close to the autoroute all the way.

Where is the new TGV line going to run?;it's funny to see TGV's go thro' our village station at about 50/60 mph.One even stopped for a few minutes due to a lineside fire.

When we moved in the UK the first time,all our things packed into the bit over the cab;second time a whole pantechnicon and the third time,two pantecnichons were full;in France we took a few things down ourselves and bought the rest-mainly from BUT.

Many modern cars have "drive-by-wire" electronics that stop you doing this;as soon as there is a signal in the brake light circuit,the electronics close the throttle irrespective of accelerator position.
