The Paris of the belle époque is long gone. Our beloved Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo is dismantling and selling all the Parisian furniture from that era for a few euros. And that's what makes foreign second-hand dealers so happy. That Paris no longer exists and never will. Paris is no longer!
