Hi, Anyone is playing 5(6,7)-a-side football in central Paris (or south) and need a player? I am trying to find a team to play regularly and on a good level. Would like to participate in tournaments. Hello all, Have a weird situtation. I have been working at the university in the UK as a research associate for 4 years. Now my current funding from the university is finished but they would like to keep me and I would like to stay as well. So we found the following solution: we have many common projects with French university so I got a contract with this french university and will be paid in France. But I will still have a contract with my UK university (but without money) and will be working and living in the same place in the UK. However, the problem is that where and how do I declare and pay tax now? Would be very happy for any suggestions about this situation!  

So, is anyone playing football in Paris during the week? I would be happy to join too - I used to play at reasonable level (at the University of Edinburgh some years ago)...  

I am not an EU citizen but I just found out that since I am payed by Britain I could have arranged the insurane for free using Exxx form before going to France and in this case I wouldn't have to pay all those bills. Now it's too late and I am curious as well why no one at the university didn't tell me but they just told me that they didn't think about it ... Anyway, I will learn from my bad experience ...

Hi, I am non-UK citizen working in the UK and paying NI contributions. Three month ago I came to Paris for a training ship (payed by the British University). I didn't think about medical insurance so I didn't have any E forms but a few weeks ago I got ill and had to call the ambulance and had a treatment for a week. At the end I got a bill for 300 euros, so I am now thinking if there is a way to get money back when I am back to the UK if I don't have a residency in France (just long term visa)? Would be glad for any ideas. Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to find people who play football regularly in Paris (preferably in the nothern part as I don't have a car). I am a visiting researcher here for 1 year and do not speak french properly yet ... I used to play football a lot on a good level in Edinburgh and played at the university team for a while but I can't find people playing football here and would like to play sometimes indoors or outdoors to get back to shape .
