Has anyone visited this expo in the Gers? I was wondering if it was worth the trip ....

What i find the most effective is to cover the area with black plastic in August and that will kill all the grass/weeds and when you remove it in February/March the ground is quite friable and ready to be planted. No work and no chemicals ! Works every time.

I think the chances of them producing bananas are limited, they take a long time to grow and ripen, often the frosts get mine in November before the fruit is ripe. They prefer some moisture/heat, and can grow incredibly fast.

Hi from the south west, I was wondering does anyone have prior knowledge to the flower show in Mimizan this Sunday, 23rd May ? I was thinking of going and was wondering what to expect !

I have seen them here, can't remember where though maybe someplace like truffaut would sell them...been thinking about one myself.
