I booked an apointment for my 12 year old son got it within the month so I thought I would book one for me the earliest I can get is June 2008 and that was in january, I was told under 18's and over 70's get priority, thank god I dont need them all the time or I have not lost mine, I think this is actually disgraceful, the centre was in Montmorillon

I am so sorry but  I get absolutely furious when I hear of people getting rid of thier cats just because they are expecting, it is a old wifes tale and shear nonsence! I was a nurse and midwife in the uk and had to deal with worried parents saying this all the time, I also in my experience have never heard of a cat killing a baby and yes there are cat nets to buy, I had 6 cats with both if my kids and the cats never went near them! I used a net at first  but infact is was not needed, the cat is part of your family too and not a disposible item just to be got rid of when a child comes along, I am speaking as avery careful and loving parent and a cat lover too!

I cannot see anywhere on the first post that says the first 5 that pm me will get a free ad, I posted it first and that a was the next morning - what you are saying is 5 got there before me and Pm'ed him?I think not! the debate was just getting going then, I think there has been a bit of favourtism there, could the people who got the free ad identify themselves and we'll see when they asked for it and if t it was before me them I'll shut my mouth and accept defeat!!!

I know exactly how you feel, to be honest my cats are my life other than my kids (dont tell me hubby though) I absolutely adore them treat them as babies everyone thinks I'm mad! I don't know why I put myself through all the pain and anguish that they cause, when they are out I search for them and spend all my time worrying they are getting run over or poisoned, we brought 12 cats and 6 dogs from the UK  and have lost 3 on the road and one by suspisious cicumstances ie (he made it home and got through the cat flap and then Died in the kitchen ) all signs were it was poison I was so devestated and angry at their unnessasary deaths, I am getting so paranoid about losing another the young ones  they dont go out anymore when they do escape I get them back in after a short while, I cannot sleep unless they are all in and tucked up so to speak, so people must think I'm over the top and have nothing else to do but its not the case, you look after them and love them and its heartbreaking for them to die so young! Its upsetting me just writing this. My opinion on the attitude of the majority of french people on cats is that they just dont care, they are used as target practice and treat like vermon and laugh at me when I say otherwise, I feel so stronghly about this it is putting me off rescuing any more as I cannot stand the pain of  losing them.I hope you sort this out with the chasse and marie good luck!!!

I havent got a clue what type of wood it is and we burn it in two woodburners one a large franco biege the other is also large but hasnt got a glass front, its not our main source of heating as we have oil central heating but its nice to have a fire downstairs, this is only the 2nd lot we bought as we were left loads and its took 3 years to use it but now we are down to nothing, maybe its dearer cos we are getting smaller logs as the last lot were 50 cms long but my mam struggles with the big ones, so how many steres is in 3 cubic metres?

Im in magnac laval Limousin near bellac and im getting them cut in 30 cm lengths  hope this helps

I have just ordered 200 euros worth of firewood from our local garden centre man last time I ordered I got 2 cords for 300 euros  he quoted me 149 per cord  now for 200 euros  he says 3sq metres is that expensive? and is there 3 sq metres in a cord I think there is so does that mean he is charging me 50 euros extra this time  its coming tomorrow so a quick response would be helpful

hi there, I paid my dues but have never had one booking, beware  there are alot of these that say this but usually never live up to expecations!!!! but there again we are a B and B but they said the same to us so I don't judge  its up to you but its my expierience   regards

Whats the news on Nenette has she found a home I really hope so!!

Its breaking my heart looking at the photos I hope he gets a home, Id love him but have just rescued a lovely dog from the pheniox a few months ago to add to the the 12 cats and 6 dogs, is there any further developments as he's on his on his last chance so Ive heard it would be lovely for him to find a home before Xmas

Dont know !!! just enjoyed  "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" with a couple of glasses which turned out to be a bottle! before I knew it, and it was lovely, a proper girly drink, now I'm off to bed, quite merry may I add,    night all!!!

I always ask my guests if they want their rooms cleaned daily and 99% say no, I donot go into the rooms without prior permission, I change the towels every 2 days and change the bed after 1 weeks stay I always ask the guests to let me know if they want their bins emptied and they usually leave the bin bag outside the room hope this helps

thankyou very much, hope you have alott of happy hols at Apremont, I know we do and we love Saint gilles croix de vie there are some lovely resteraunts on the prominade, unfortuatley we cannot get there  very often as work has to come first,
