menthe
The French can get very touchy about their flag! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13146809/imam-French-flag-satanic-arrested-deported-Tunisia-Britain.html

anotherbanana
I suspect we are all missing the trick here; Made in France is stamped on the emballage and it is that which is made locally, not the contents!
Lehaut
"Transformé en France" is another trick wording, it means the product was manufactured and packaged in France. The ingredients can come from anywhere. And without getting into the current debates raging over UPFs, nearly all these things are, indeed UPFs, as are 90% of the special offers in supermarkets. Lori
3 hours ago, Lehaut said: "Transformé en France" Yes, annoys the hell out of me. In most cases, when I see this on a label, there is no information as to where the contents of the package came from. Of course, I do care where the package holding the contents was made or where the contents are stuffed into the container, but the actual source/location of the contents itself is even more important (to me). SOL there, it ain't noted.
