Tresco
Mmmm. I suspect some poor mod is waiting for us to go to bed, before putting the thread back, or revealing what it's final fate is.Am I right, poor Mod?[:)]
Dick Smith
It's gone.I think only Gay has been around in the later part of the evening, and presumably she doesn't fancy an all-nighter.
PossumGirl
I was a bit surprised when I saw that this morning. When I last looked around 18:00 last night, it seemed as if the whole thing was quite civil, so I don't really understand why it went.PG
Bugsy
It's gone to the place where all threads go, poor Dick and Chris, you'll have to look for another place to have an argument...[:D]Maybe the Moderators should consider a 'fight room', just for you two.................[:D]
Lori
I too was surprised. What happened during the night? I thought the thread was excellent.
Chris Head
Oh crikey Bugbear, to suggest Dick gets locked in the same room as me wasn't terribly fair[6]!Anyway, I'm in a fantastic mood this morning and have decided not only to offer Smiffy and Miki and olive branch, but to FORGIVE them as well! How great is that![:D]

Dick Smith
Chris, what makes you think that you can insult someone in the evening and then the next day tell them that everything is all right? It isn't. You were seriously out of order yesterday, and now, because you are in a good mood, or have sobered up, we are all supposed to forget it. Sorry, no.Have the balls to live with your actions. Chris Head
Dick, I understand you felt insulted but at the time I felt equally insulted, it was six of one and half a dozen of the other, I'm capable of seeing both sides. I don't bear grudges Dick, life is too short and just too dang too good, now get over it and move on eh?
Dick Smith
Nope, sorry, it wasn't 'six of one' you were completely out of order.I can see why you would want to put it behind you, but I'm not minded to. You've done this to me and others too many times.
Chris Head
In your opinion it wasn't six of one Dick, in mine it was, you're not right and neither am I, there will be people that agree with you and those that agree with me, which is exactly why there's no point in perpetuating an argument because there is nothing to be gained from it. Like I say, move on old boy. I'm most certainly not going to get embroiled in who's done what to who before. I can see why you would want to put it behind youDick, I have put it behind me, it wasn't any conscious decision to do so, that's just my nature, by all means bear your grudge, but try and have a nice day too eh[;-)]
chris pp
If you have put it behind you, Chris, why do you keep going on about it?It's a game, and not a very advanced one at that.Chris
Christine Animal
I must say that there are a lot of threads I don't bother to read any more because of all this and I am probably not the only one. I hope you both realize that.It is sad for what is otherwise a great forum.
Dick Smith
Christine, the argument here is that when a poster said that she found a post to be racist she was told to 'chill' and ignore it. Do you think that is the right way to deal with the problem?
Christine Animal
Why don't you just drop it Dick.
Meg
Oh for goodness sake.....................People are entitled to express whatever opinion they want as long as it's within the code of conduct, without having to be criticised and for it. In turn your allowed to disagree, but why does it always have to turn into childish squabbles.Do you think that is the right way to deal with the problem?Who decides what's right and wrong anyway?Edit, i agree with you Christine, it is such a shame. Dick Smith
Because wrong is wrong and should be confronted.Or else, in the pink and fluffy world you would like to inhabit, all sorts of nasty things happen that you would like even less. It's also called a moral vacuum. Miki
Am I the only one who sees the irony in the way some people, who say they don't read certain threads any more, somehow and perhaps because of some magical and mysterious reason, know all about them. And then the classic happens.....they post about the people going on a bit, which unless I am wrong, doesn't their post simply continue to elongate the very thing they claim, they want the others not to continue to do....It's all so very.....well, so werry Fwench...............
