Tony F Dordogne
Boring? Isn't that what people used to have books and record players for before the advent of permanant tv programmes, surely never getting bored whilst you have the internet to play with? woolybanana
One is seldom bored, but even on the net one is often hit by ads for French cars, particularly in the French press.

Catalpa
Just remain oblivious to most advertising. Works for me.Although... does Carglass count? I always see that before the weather on TF1 at about 13h50... and that flipping little ditty goes through my head for the next hour... I remember well the pub for Autoglass répare, Autoglass remplace.Never used them as our insurance didn't use them, even though Autoglass and our insurer were right next to one another on a ZI. Chancer
I work till between 20.00 and 21.00 each night, by the time I have cooked, eaten and cleared up after myself when i finally sit down in front of the box it is well past the watershed hence no car adverts for me. Definitely one of the better thigs done by the government.I remember that ad from the UK, why on earth was it banned? My favorite is this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKO-tZGuFDg&NR=1 [:D]I am old enough to remember when car adverts were about the car, not some ethereal lifestyle statement.
