Ferry prices on the up?

We would often have a small trailor with us and the cheapest we ever had and I thought it was great was 164€ for the return trip. The eurotunnel used to quote us from 500-600 odd €'s and was far too much.

 

We had a dear journey, just looked at viamichelin and door to door would be 212€ so times 2 plus the ferry, and a cheap hotel both ways, as we get too tired to drive in one go.  Have to say, I admire your ferry bargains.
