1. That sounds good to me.  In fact, haven't had my parcel from British Foods dot com or whatever.  Sent them an email and was told that they'd had problems with their email facility and, not only that , that my parcel has been "damaged" and that they are re-arranging another one. Mind you, they DIDN'T contact me; I had to initiate contact!  Not that thrilled en ce moment.
2. Toi aussi, Odile, bonne année![:D]
3. You have my sympathies, Odile.  Been there, I mean the miserable and depressed bit............just before and all over Christmas. Better now because I decided that I'd rather be happy. Anyway, it's not the British food I wanted; just food at a lower price than what I can get here in the supermarkets and in the markets. If you need to bend someone's ear, just PM or email, OK?
4. Food for thought, BMT and please excuse the pun!
5.

Oh, forgot I was meant to be miserable and depressed..........!
Ah yes, but that was BEFORE. Now your life can start again - all you needed was a couple of bags of chickpeas, and a few recipes...[:D]
I know, I have no class and I am low-maintenance![:P]
6. Clair, the recipes are awe inspiring.  Thank you.  I knew you'd come up trumps.  I have learnt so much from your posts. I'm so looking forward to trying out the recipes.  Oh, forgot I was meant to be miserable and depressed..........!
7. Ah... Cat (and Clair the instigator of all this), many thanks.  Just spent £90 on the web.  Very pleased though because the prices compare favourably with our local supermarkets'.  Plus saving on petrol and trying to catch the shops before lunch........... Surprised that even things like bread flour are cheaper and, of course, bottled and tinned sauces and dog treats!  Husband treats too, of course. Can see myself doing a shop say every 1 to 2 months.  Mind you, I have bought so much rice and pulses that we'll be eating them for months to come. Now for some recipes (besides soup ones) for rice and pulses........ Any offers, Clair?[:D][kiss] you wonderful woman you!  You too, Cat; you are brill.
8. rothrugby I shall be more than happy to PM you.  The reason I did not give the details is because I think our situation is different from yours and the OP's. My OH has an E121 (old age) and I am on it as his dependent.  Therefore ,our policy was just the usual top-up, not anything like the comprehensive stuff you are looking for. All I wanted to tell the OP was that Exclusive does answer phone calls and that they do take card details over the phone. If after knowing this, you still want the details, I will gladly PM or email.
9. Hester I am with this company at present though I am changing in January.  I think there is only ever the one person, Polly, at the other end of the phone.  She is very helpful, however, and will ring back if you leave your number.  And yes, I believe they will take a credit card over the phone though I sent my details in the post as I had other information for them at the same time. They've been pretty good and I'm only changing because our insurance agent has found us the same cover for a considerable saving.
