Velux windows

We have two velux windows that have gone 'cloudy'.

Is it possible to replace the panes or would we have to replace the whole unit?

As ever, grateful for any guidance.

Hi Rowland,

If they are the modern units with the wider spacer bar between the pains of glass then yes.

The older type with narrow spacer bar, no, I couldn't source the narrow spacer bar so fitted new windows. That said the new ones are gas filled, low emissivity panels and they do make a difference, I.E. they work better.

They seem quite narrow so will have to live with them for a while longer.
