Our house insurance does not cover this and we live here in the Dordogne so obviously do not have travel insurance! How do we go about this? [/quote]All risks insurance is available in France - just ask your broker - however, it is not "normal". Interestingly enough, my commercial insuarnce covers personal possesions whilst carried in my works vehicle, although my household or car policies do not.
