Just Chris
This will be our first contribution to the French Tax authorities, but we're not entirely sure how to go about paying......some weeks ago we received a form telling us to expect our tax bill within the next few days, and apparently offering us methods of payment. There is a tear-off form for completion at the bottom (including space for details of our "ancienne addresse", which we assume is the UK one). When the tax bill arrived, it was accompanied by another form (No. 1533-TIP-NOT-K), with another tear off strip. We gather that for the first year's tax, we're obliged to make a single payment, but which form should we use?And do we send a cheque, pay on line, or set up a direct debit? giantpanda
Hi!You can pay with a cheque. You can register to pay over internet:http://www.servicepubliclocal.com/spl/accueil.spl?c=547706&f=N0/N13/N206/N239/But you will have to send a RIB ( Relevé d'Identité Bancaire) in any case.Yours, giantpanda
