Lachouette
I belong to an association helping anglophones settle into the area and we've just had a reply from Mr Vergne who usually replies to mail sent to that address, saying that the mailbox is no longer operational. He quoted the rate of exchange as:1€ = 0,84292£ soit 1£ = 1,11865€ Cordialement Pierre VERGNEinspecteur départementalresponsable du centre des impôts de Limoges VillePity about the replies to questions in English though Jan
JohnRoss
Many thanks Jan and yes it is a pity! I know many folk found this to be a useful facility. The rate given is similar, though not the same, as the rate I got from Parthenay........................................JR
dragonrouge
Our local office phoned this afternoon and the rate they quoted is less than the one that you see. I am so messed up on this that I will apply the monthly rate and then at least I can sleep at nights.
