Tax Return Forms

I've noticed that the Tax Return Forms that had been sent to me are 2047K and 2042K

The 2042K is partially pre-completed.

Are these correct, as I remember reading somewhere that the K refers to employees of French Companies

I'm early retired, from the UK and have not worked or carried out any business in France

Thanks, John

The K suffix indicates that they are pre-completed versions of the 2047/2042.

French employees receive a 2042K pre-completed with their salary details as notified to the impots by their employers.

If you don't have any French employment earnings, then the 2042K form is just pre-completed with name, address and tax reference numbers plus any savings interest as notified to the impots by your French bank.

Me, too.  Don't know about late; I reckon our tax office has got to be the most inefficient in all of France.  And if not that, then a pretty close second.

I've never had any of my taxes done right the first time.  Sometimes, if it's not a lot of money, I just let it pass because life's too short and I don't want to die prematurely of apoplexy.
