No matter how much research you do there will always be the odd thing you don't know about.[:)]I would plan out how to ask the question in French, and then ask in any shoe shop, if no one comes along with a helpful response. I'm sure they will though.It's not far for you to go to Saintes or Saint Jean D'Angely is it, but La Rochelle has to be the shoe shop capital of Charente Maritime.[:D]Good luck with your quest. TWINKLE Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 I saw this post earlier this evening and I wanted to suggest Montaud shoe shops where I get my daughters shoes from. However, I only found shops in my region - South East. Revel (31), Castres (81) and Carcassonne (11). I'm sure there are others all over France. Good luck!
