Andy Posted January 18, 2006 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Hi, has anyone used or does anyone know of a good carpet retailer and or a good carpet fitter in the Northern Dordogne area.I know carpet (Moquette) is not so commonly used and I have been advised that they tend to glue carpet down and don't use stretchers etc....is this correct?RegardsAndy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Paul Bradford Posted February 6, 2006 Share Posted February 6, 2006 Hi Andy,If you are not in too much of a rush, I know of an excellent family of carpet fitters and suppliers that are planning to move over. They are forever flitting back and forth to sign papers. I believe they are over for the Easter period. I know they are fitting some carpet while they are over. We have used them for our home and also commercially. I'll send you a pm with their details.
