We want to meet them for lunch somewhere nice without having to go into Sarlat. Anyone with any suggestions for any that have good food and are reasonably priced, but South West of Sarlat. Hoddy Posted August 18, 2011 Share Posted August 18, 2011 You could try - L'Auberge des Chateaux at Vezac - pretty ordinary run of the mill food sensibly priced. Lots of outside eating space with a lovely view of Beynac Castle.More up market with a better menu, less convivial though, is Le Bistrot d'Epicure just outside St Cyprien.Perhaps a little off where you want to be although still south of Sarlat is Htel le Perigord which sometimes has an ambitious menu is the Hotel le Perigord. In the event and having done a little research I've decided to give the Hotel de France in Monpazier a go. It's about equidistant between us and our friends who are staying in Sarlat.
