I have a big city house in Languedoc 10 minutes drive from sea,also car.House has a lovely garden and is very comfy.The house is almost finished but as I can't drive I can only get there when either husband or friends are available.I find it too big and too lonely on my own.I just wondered if anyone looking to move to this area might like to sample life here this summer.In return I would like some shelves putting up in library(my books are all in boxes),knowledgeable advice on best place to put another loo(there's only one)and a hand painting the only unpainted bedroom.All share on food,I make a mean curry as I was raised in Sri Lanka.And of course a lift to somewhere I can swim every day,sea,river,I don't care.Perhaps a bit of work in the morning,swim afternoon?Whatever.I am retired,speak French well enough to be understood and know the area very well.Especially good swimming places.Please no expats telling me I'm a wimp!Because its true!
