Car Parking at Roscoff

Does anyone know of anywhere in Roscoff where a car can be permanently parked so crossings to our holiday home can be made by foot passenger, collecting the car on arrival and parking when we leave?

I leave a car just outside the ferry terminal all summer. It is, of course, properly taxed and insured; unlike many others parked there. When I first bought my house and wanted to travel about fifteen times a year as a foot passenger I E-mailed Brittany Ferries and asked if it was OK, and they said it was. I have not had a problem in six years.

Thanks for this Mark. Is there a special car park you use? The zig zag one outside the terminal doors is always full it seems! Any problems with flat batteries?

I park as close to the terminal as possible. Flat batteries have not been a problem but I keep a booster battery in the boot, just in case.

Thanks. How long is your car often left unstarted? What would you recommend when chosing a suitable car? Thanks for all your help!

I leave the car for about a fortnight at a time, although it has been longer. As for recommendation; that would be more difficult. I use Greeen Flag as a European breakdown  cover and therefore make sure that my car is less than ten years old. Personally I like popular estates; cheap to run and repair, as well as able to carry goods.
