In most shops the checkout machine fills the cheque in and at home we have time to look it up or even, goodness help us all, look the words up in a dictionnaire. Even learn them.Noticed that there is no help for those who live in Switzerland or Belgium who have a far more sensible way of using numbers, as the french used to have.Septante, octante, huitante and nonante, lovely!
