woolybanana
Just received a nice tax rebate based on the two acomptes I had paid over the year so far. As I won't have to pay the third acompte, this means a rebate effectively of about a grand. But, what I don't yet know (I will ask) is whether this includes any part of the social security rebate which should be forthcoming. Oooh I do hope not! Kong
I had a rebate last year and the social security was included in the calculation. So I don't think you will get another bill!
woolybanana
There shouldn't be another bill this year, but the letter with the cheque does not make it clear whether the Social charges have been repaid and if so, how much they are as a separate sum. It only speaks of income tax (inpot sur le revenu).I'll pop along and see whether they have a breakdown of the figures when next in town, though better arrange an appointment with someone who knows about foreigners affairs, I think.
