As a 69 year old male with a chronic illness I had for many years been exempt. Now I find that I’m no longer exempt, as I have received an Avis d’Impots for the above, would this be because of the rise in my income due to the exchange rates? Can't think of any other reason, unless they've raised the exemption threshold.PS AFAIK, having a chronic illness doesn't make any difference to your taxe d'habitions.
