That's the way it seems.

I was presented with 2042 C when I did my online declaration because I wished to be taxed by the "système de quotient" on a lump sum pension I received. Box ØXX.

I noticed that on 2042 C there are also boxes for declarants to tick if they are  covered by S1's (8SH and 8SI)

Thanks. I am a little confused now. It is nothing to do with an S1. My son has happily filled in the 2042K for years but now the box he used has disappeared. He lives in France but works in another EU Country.

The 2042 K is simply the version of the 2042 which is sent to individuals by the Impots with some details already completed.

The 2042 C is complementary to the 2042, and is a sort of overflow for it, for reporting income sources not covered by the 2042, plus a few miscellaneous items, as mentioned, some of which were previously on the 2042.
