Ginnie
When my son has filled in Form 2042K in the past, he has used column 8TI but on this years form that column isn’t there. Does anyone know which column it is now? Thanks for any help.
nomoss
It's on 2042 C.
Ginnie
Thanks for replying. Are you saying I don’t put it on Form 2042K at all and have to get the Form 2042C?
nomoss
Thanks for replying. Are you saying I don’t put it on Form 2042K at all and have to get the Form 2042C?
That's the way it seems.I was presented with 2042 C when I did my online declaration because I wished to be taxed by the "système de quotient" on a lump sum pension I received. Box ØXX. I noticed that on 2042 C there are also boxes for declarants to tick if they are covered by S1's (8SH and 8SI)
Ginnie
Thanks. I am a little confused now. It is nothing to do with an S1. My son has happily filled in the 2042K for years but now the box he used has disappeared. He lives in France but works in another EU Country. nomoss
The 2042 C is concerned with far more issues than having an S1. If you look at it you will see, and be better informed [:D]
nomoss
The 2042 K is simply the version of the 2042 which is sent to individuals by the Impots with some details already completed. The 2042 C is complementary to the 2042, and is a sort of overflow for it, for reporting income sources not covered by the 2042, plus a few miscellaneous items, as mentioned, some of which were previously on the 2042.
