When is a pizza not a pizza?

Well, a clumsy title but what I wanna know is whether making a pizza for my grandson is cultural appropriation or whether I should report my local pizza van for cultural appropriation? Or whether pasta can only be made in Italy, or whether tartan can only be worn by people who were born in Scotland (male of female or whatever)? Can Cheddar claim the cheese exclusively?

Please explain to this simple person who is confused. Should I cut off my dreadlocks? Should I stop speaking cockney, should I stop French friends making crumble?
