Pafs Posted March 17, 2004 Share Posted March 17, 2004 Can anyone help me. My permit runs out August 2004 and I need to get a time extension. Our house will not be completely renovated for approx. 1 - 2 years and we still have exterior items to finish. Do I send a letter to my marie asking for an extension to the Permis de Construire or do I have to fill in numerous forms. Also, would it be best for me to take the letter/forms in person or will just posting do (I am only in France for short periods at the moment) Any help would be greately appreciated. If not it looks as if you can renew once, for one year only, by applying to your Mairie by letter, at least two months before the expiry date.
