Pafs

I know its a bit of a selfish query but.... never mind I have been trying to find a single cab pre-75 VW pickup (they look like a chopped up camper) for some time now with little success (all either pristine condition with hardly any miles on the clock(=expensive) or modified(=hard to import + dont want). I noticed when in France that local garages seem to have more what i classify as "classic cars" than those in the UK. So what i am basically asking is, if anyone has noticed a VW pickup for sale for example when driving past a local garage or if any one knows of any one selling one or even a vw specilist shop (i know there is one in Tolouse). If by some slim chance someone has seen one for sale if you could you let me know where (based in dordogne 24 willing to travel anywhere) and name of garage/shop: It would make me a very happy person... Can anyone help me. My permit runs out August 2004 and I need to get a time extension. Our house will not be completely renovated for approx. 1 - 2 years and we still have exterior items to finish. Do I send a letter to my marie asking for an extension to the Permis de Construire or do I have to fill in numerous forms. Also, would it be best for me to take the letter/forms in person or will just posting do (I am only in France for short periods at the moment) Any help would be greately appreciated. Angie
