pool trespassers

Hi all!, Anyone know the legal implications for me if an unauthorised neighbour uses my pool when I'm in the UK and has a child fatality? At the present time non rented pools do not need an alarm/fence/cover until 2006 after which there is a fine of 45,000 euros for not complying. But the issue is what should I do to protect myself legally against trespassers? Help!
