Cassis Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 They don't actually hibernate in Europe, Maude, though they will stay in their dreys for several days if the weather is very cold. During winter they eat the store of food (seeds and nuts) they put aside in the autumn (though apparently they are not very good at remembering where they put it).
