Francelover
Probably a long shot but is there anyone in the South West (LANDES) or close areas that is looking to move to the North West of France?Might be a way of bypassing the sluggish market. We're about 40 mins from Mont St Michel, an hour from the port at St Malo and 2 From Caen/Ouistreham. Dinard airport (flights to Stanstead and East Midlands) is about 1 hour away.Just a thought!
RogerWarner
Now if you had a house further North ie Blighty, might be interested as we have a brand new three bed property on the Charente Haute Vienne border we want to swap.

giteowner
the agents Leggett's immobillier have house swaps on their site. I am not plugging for them and have nothing to do with them other than advertising my gites in the Dordogne for sale with them. I amnot sure how successful the swap site is as some of the homes have been on there for a long time but it is an interesting thought. I believe the French home has to be advertised through Leggett's to go on the swap part but anyone in UK can apply to swap their home.
